VUWSA Executive
The Executive is elected each year by Vic students and are there to make sure the student voice is part of all the important conversations at the university.
This team is the face of VUWSA and you’ll see them on campus, at events, at important meetings and in the media repping student issues.
Student Assembly
The Student Assembly and Te Kaunihera o Ngā Tauira is a forum of student leaders at Victoria University of Wellington from a range of faculties and representative groups, who come together to discuss issues affecting students. As a consultation body, it provides a formal platform for student opinion to be discussed, and issues to be raised.
Class Representatives
A class rep is the bridge between the lecturer and the students. They are not meant to be a note taker or class life coach, but instead to facilitate feedback by communicating regularly with the class and the course coordinator.
Faculty Delegates
As student representatives on the governing body of their respective faculty, faculty delegates help make decisions that directly affect teaching and learning, research, and the student experience.
Student representatives on faculty boards perform a vital role in ensuring that students have input and a strong voice when decisions that impact them are being made.
Clubs Council
The Clubs Council is a representative body for Clubs at Victoria University of Wellington. It advises the University on club matters , governs VUWSA's clubs’ policy and gives a member opportunity to sit on the Sponsorship Panel.
